Help someone facing what you faced. Tell us about the type of situation, what approach you took, and how it turned out.
Important — what you can and cannot name:
- You CAN name government bodies (e.g. QPS, Queensland Government, QCAT, Fair Work Commission, Legal Aid) and large organisations (10+ employees).
- Do NOT name individuals — no real names of people, small businesses with fewer than 10 employees, or details that could identify a specific person.
Under the Defamation Act 2005 (Qld) s 9(2), government bodies and corporations with 10 or more employees cannot sue for defamation. Individual names will be removed during review. Read our full content moderation policy.
Tip: Frame your experience as what happened to you and what you learned, not as accusations. For example: "In my experience, QCAT was helpful and the process took about 6 weeks" rather than making factual claims about specific people's behaviour.
How it works: You describe your experience. You can name government bodies and large organisations — they cannot sue for defamation under s 9(2) of the Defamation Act. Individual names and identifying details are removed during review. You approve what gets shared before anything is published.
